You know you have a special event coming up. You’re excited, you have a million ideas in your head… but then comes the big question: Where do I even start?
Before you jump into Pinterest boards, venues, décor, or vendors, start with the basics. Asking yourself these 5 simple questions will help you make clear on what really matters and make the entire planning process much easier.
You have a special event coming up… but you have NO idea where to start?
Before you start scrolling through venues, décor, photographers, and Pinterest boards, ask yourself these 5 questions first.
1. WHY am I planning this event? What do I actually want from it? Beautiful memories? Amazing pictures? Quality time with people I love? Or am I planning certain things just to impress others?
Your WHY should guide your event.
2. What is my budget? How much am I actually comfortable spending? Because trust me, your budget changes EVERYTHING — from your guest list to your venue, décor, food, and vendors.
3. Who really needs to be there? Look at your guest list through a different lens. Who is genuinely important to you? You don't have to invite everyone — and yes, being intentional here can save you some $$$ too!
4. What venue works for MY event? Now that you know your budget and guest count, you can start looking for your venue. But don't book just because it looks beautiful! There are so many little things you need to check first.
I'll cover those in my next video!
5. Who are my key vendors? Based

on your event, activities, and budget, decide which vendors you really need. These are the people who will actually help bring your vision to life.
So, before you get overwhelmed with event planning, remember:
WHY. BUDGET. GUESTS. VENUE. VENDORS.
Start with these five, and everything else will start falling into place
